How to Bridge to Solana from Ethereum, Base, BNB and More

A step-by-step guide to moving crypto to Solana from Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain, Arbitrum and other chains with a cross-chain swap, including fees, timing and safety checks.

Not financial advice. Crypto is risky and you can lose everything you put in. Do your own research. Craic Hub is non-custodial: you trade from your own wallet and nobody here ever needs your seed phrase. Fees paid in $CRAIC are burned.

What bridging means

Each blockchain is separate, so you can't send ETH on Ethereum straight to a Solana address. A bridge or cross-chain swap locks or swaps your asset on one chain and delivers an asset on the other. Craic Hub's cross-chain swap uses LI.FI routing to find a route across many chains.

What you need

Step by step

  1. Open Bridge and connect your source-chain wallet.
  2. Choose the source chain and token, then choose Solana and the token you want to receive.
  3. Enter your Solana receiving address and check it carefully.
  4. Compare the route's fees, the estimated time and the amount you'll receive.
  5. Approve in your wallet. Some routes need a token approval first, then the swap itself.
  6. Wait for delivery. Most routes take a few minutes, but busy networks can be slower.

Fees to expect

You pay source-chain gas, any bridge or route fees, and a small exchange fee. All of these are shown before you approve. Moving tiny amounts from Ethereum mainnet can cost more in gas than it's worth, so check first.

Safety tips

Frequently asked questions

How long does bridging to Solana take?

Usually a few minutes, depending on the route and how busy the networks are. The estimate is shown before you approve.

Can I bridge from Bitcoin?

Some routes support Bitcoin. The bridge page shows the chains and tokens available right now.

What if my transfer is delayed?

Use the transaction hash to track it on the route's explorer. Don't send it again while the first one is still pending.
