What Is a Crypto Wallet? Seed Phrases Explained Simply
Your wallet holds your keys. Your seed phrase is the master key.
What a wallet does
A wallet (like Phantom, Solflare or Backpack) is an app that holds the keys to your crypto. The coins themselves live on the blockchain; the wallet proves they're yours and lets you approve trades.
Your seed phrase
When you set up a wallet you get 12 or 24 words. That is the master key. Anyone with those words can take everything.
- Write it on paper. Never screenshot it or type it into a website.
- Nobody legit will ever ask for it: not Craic Hub, not support, not an admin in a DM.
Connecting to Craic Hub
Tapping Connect wallet only lets the site see your public address and balance. Every trade opens a pop-up in your wallet and nothing moves unless you approve it.
Getting started
Install Phantom from phantom.com (check the address), create a wallet, save your seed phrase on paper, then add a little SOL.

Not financial advice. Crypto is risky and you can lose everything you put in. Do your own research. Craic Hub is non-custodial: you trade from your own wallet and nobody here will ever ask for your seed phrase. Fees paid in $CRAIC are burned.
